What happens next?

  • Once you get your Park prescription from your provider, the program coordinator will call welcoming you to the program.
     

  • Together you will set up a 12 week schedule of phone calls and ideas to meet your outdoor prescription.
     

  • Make plans to meet your goal each week and join group events when they happen!
     

  • Earn points to get prizes!

    • Attend your first event to receive a ParkRx water bottle

    • Earn 30 points = $15 gift card to Sensible Shoe

    • Earn 60 points = $25 gift card to Sensible Shoe
       

  • Learn about events and resources on Facebook!

  • Vermont State Parks (open year round, with limited facilities in the winter)
    • Special things to know about VT State Parks:
      • $2 lifetime day-use pass available to VT residents who:

        • Are 62 years of age or older OR

        • Are veterans honorably discharged from active duty in the US armed service

      • Available through your town clerk's office - ask for the Green Mountain Passport!
         

      • Library Pass = free entry into VT State Parks (up to 8 people in one car)

        • Free!
        • Available to check out from your local library
