The Rutland Recreation and Parks Department offers 3 divisions of football in the fall. 

Division A

This is a non-contact flag football league for boys & girls in grades 3 and 4. Teams are coached by volunteer coaches and will play a set schedule of games. Practices will be held scheduled and led by each team's volunteer head coach. Registration is open in late July and closes in late August. Participants are assigned a team through an evaluation and draft process to promote appropriate competition. Games will be held Sundays afternoons and Tuesday evenings at Cioffreddi Complex beginning Sunday after Labor Day and finishing the end of October. REGISTER ONLINE NOW

Division B

Division C

The Recreation Department participates in the Southwest Vermont Middle School Football League. This is a full equipment flag football league for boys and girls in grades 7 and 8. Participants will be placed on a team representing Rutland Recreation and Parks and coached by a qualified football head coach and supporting coaching staff. Practices will begin in August. The season runs through late October. The game schedule is created by the league and is made available in late August. for Football Camps

Football Skills Camp is a great camp for both beginners and experienced players led by the head coach of the Rutland Raiders. You will learn the fun and fundamentals of football, while receiving instruction in both offensive and defensive tactics.  **NEW Full Day Available Full Days Available.  After lunch campers will be transported to the White Memorial Park for swimming, tennis, basketball and outdoor fun.  Please pack a lunch and bathing suit.  Drop off will be Rutland High School, and full day pick up at White Memorial Park

Quarterback and Receiver Camp: Join Coach Shortle and his highly talented and dynamic staff for a truly enjoyable and informative football experience. This camp is a must for anyone interested in the quarterback or receiver positions and will focus on all of the fundamentals necessary to excel at these positions
