Head Tackle Football Coach

The Rutland Recreation and Parks Department is seeking a qualified coach for our middle school tackle football program. Please note starting fall 2018 this program will be full padded flag instead of tackle per statewide vote.  A thorough knowledge of football is required along with an outstanding leadership ability and a strong sense of safety and sportsmanship. Already US Football certified is preferred.
The season runs from mid-August through the end of October and evening and weekend hours are required.

Day Camp Life Guard

We are currently looking for the position of Lifeguard to work at our Summer Day Camp. The Lifeguard is responsible for providing supervision and ensuring a safe environment at the camp’s waterfront activities. Promote high standards in all aspects of the camp program. Serve as a role model to campers and staff by your actions, appearance, manners, language, and general conduct. Participate enthusiastically in all camp activities, planning and leading those as assigned. Lifeguards are not scheduled every day, only days with aquatic activity. But lifeguards must be available June 26th through August 11th, Monday through Friday with hours varying day to day. A day to day schedule is available upon request.
