Hands On Minds On is an art studio designed specifically for children. It is a place where hands & minds can imagine, create, and let their colors fly. The studio offers a safe environment for children to work with a wide variety of art materials accompanied with instruction and inspiration.
At the studio we believe the process of making art is more important than the product. It is the process of experimentation with art materials, discovery of techniques and the manner of which one puts it all together that offers each artist self-confidence in problem-solving and instills joy & pride in their work.
Programs are small groups with emphasis on one-on-one teacher/student interaction. Within the process of art-exploration, the language of art (shape, line, texture, balance, form, etc.) will take place. This active participation in hands-on projects helps young minds develop a visual and kinesthetic style of learning, which can guide the student "early on" in discovering the countless connections around them which makes all learning a colorful and creative experience.
