MEN’S DROP IN HOCKEY-Recreational men’s adult drop in league for players of all abilities.
FEE: $10 per skate residents $11 per skate non-residents PUNCH CARD: 10-session punch card $80 residents $90 non-residents
PRIVATE SKATING LESSONS-
Contact the Recreation Department or phone numbers for our skating instructors.
The skater is responsible for paying the rink for ice cost and the instructor for lesson fees.
LEARN TO SKATE PROGRAM - Ages 3+ Provides structured group lessons in which skills are broken down into six progressive, achievable levels aimed to develop core skating skills regardless of preferred skating sport (hockey, figure or speed skating). As students progress through the levels they will learn forward and backward skating, stopping, turning and edges. Program includes a 30 minute lesson each week as well as an additional 30 minutes of practice time if desired. Max class size of 8.
FREESTYLE SKATE – ALL AGES- This is a special open free style figure skate hour on Saturdays from 9:30 – 10:30 AM. Fee: $6 residents and $8 non residents.
Additional freestyle skate hours may be added depending on demand and ice availability.
OPEN SKATE –ALL AGES- Each week the rink will be open to the public for skating. A concession stand, warming room and rental skates are available.
STICK AND PUCK – ALL AGES-
CURLING- Come check out Rutland’s newest sport! The Rutland Recreation Department along with the Rutland Rocks Curling Club will offer a full season of exciting curling opportunities.

PARTIES AND SPECIAL EVENTS- Giorgetti Arena will be available throughout the skating season for your special event.

DIRECTIONS
From the west:
• Take Business Route 4 east in West Rutland toward Rutland
• At traffic light at intersection of West St and Columbia Ave get in the left lane and go straight on to Columbia Ave. (Nutting Used Cars is on the left)
• Get in the left lane on Columbia Ave., go straight on to Pierpoint Avenue
• At the end of Pierpoint Ave turn right on to Crescent Street.
• Take the 2nd left on to Preville Ave (one-way street)
• At the end of the street is entrance to Giorgetti Arena
From the east:
• Take Route 4 west (which becomes Woodstock Avenue)
• At intersection of Routes 4 & 7, turn right on to Route 7 north
• At traffic light, turn left on to Crescent Street
• Continue on Crescent Street, go over bridge and take the immediate right on to Preville Ave (one way)
• Entrance to Giorgetti is at the end of the street
From the south:
• Take Route 7 north
• Continue north on Route 7/Main Street past the intersection of Route 4 (Woodstock Ave)
• At traffic light, turn left on to Crescent Street. (Follow directions above)
From the north:
• Route 7 south/North Main Street
• Continue driving south on North Main
• At traffic light, turn right on to Crescent Street (Follow directions above)
