Rutland Youth Theatre CAMP/ Workshops

All levels of actors welcome from the first to theatre to those that have performed with Rutland Youth Theatre in the past. Have fun with us this summer!
New this year is that each section will be unique. Your child could come for just one section or join us for the day.
The morning section: the campers will have a chance to devise their own characters and write their own script! T
he afternoon section: will feature Disney’s Aladdin for grades 3-6 and 101 Dalmatians for grades K-2. All sections will end with a performance for parents. For afternoon sections, both K-2 and 3-6, will perform on Saturday August 7th for the Long Trail Festival.

General Information
IF ENROLLING IN BOTH MORNING AND AFTERNOON SESSIONS, YOU WILL NEED TO ENROLL IN THE CONNECTOR CAMP AS WELL.

K-6 Workshop General Information
Our fall workshop will focus on Shakespeare. Classes for grades K-6 this fall will focus on The Shakespeare Project. Students will have a chance to explore and develop their acting skills. We will also learn vocal and physical warm-ups and play theatre and improvisation games. The last day of class we will present our work to family and friends. Children should wear comfortable clothes and bring a snack and water bottle.
