Giorgetti Arena is a three season indoor facility. November through February the rink is an ice arena hosting public skating, stick and puck, skating lessons, RAHA, Rutland Rocks Curling Club, freestyle skating, broomball, and rentals. In early March the ice is taken out and replaced by a quality indoor turf field. During the turf season soccer, field hockey, lacrosse, football, and more have programs and leagues running for 8 weeks. In early May the turf is removed and the Flip Side Skatepark is laid out for skateboarders and BMX bikers. Flip Side offers open sessions May through September as well as camps through the summer months. At the end of September the skatepark ramps will be stored away just in time to set the ice back in.
Just outside of Giorgetti Arena you will find the entrance to Pine Hill Park with over 16 miles of hiking, biking, running, and walking trails.
