Summer Sunset 5K Running Series
We are back for the 11th summer of this 5K trail running series in Pine Hill at Giorgetti Park. The second Tuesday of June, July and August there will be a 6:30PM trail run. The cost is $6.00 per race or $15 for the series.

Slackline Workshop
Join Cindi and Keith Wight and learn the fun and benefits of slacklining. There will be 4 slacklines set up to play on! Do you have a slackline? Bring it with you and we can set up more lines. All ages welcome and families encouraged! Want to make your own? Just ask Keith as he made the ones you will be using. Bring a pinic dinner and enjoy a healthy night out.

Kiwanis Fishing Derby
Once again the Rutland Kiwanis Club and the Rutland Recreation and Parks Department will be hosting a special fishing day for children up to age 13. A parent/guardian must accompany the child. Registration is at 8:30AM. Prizes are awarded in various categories. Fish will be provided by the Vermont Fish and Game Department.

Vegetable Garden Workshops
We are working with Alchemy Gardens to set up a two part garden workshop for anyone interested in learning how to grow vegetables in small spaces whether at a community garden or in a corner of your yard! These workshops are co-sponsored by Rutland Regional Medical Center.
