It is that time of year when Santa and his elves make special phone calls to girls and boys in Rutland. We have made arrangements with the elves for Santa Phone Calls to be Thursday December 11th from 5:30PM-7:30PM.
Don't miss your chance to see their faces light up when they connect directly with the North Pole to have a one on one conversation with Santa. The deadline for submitting a form to receive a Santa Phone call is Monday December 8th.
On Thursday December 11th we invite you to join us at the Rutland Free Library Fox Room at 5:30 p.m. for an interactive discussion on what Rutland would like to see in a pool design and stimulate discussion on choosing an indoor and/or outdoor pool.
If we choose not to fix White’s Pool “as is” or we build a pool in a new location what would you consider the highest priorities in a municipal pool? Would it be places to recreationally swim laps? Would it be competitive lap lines (suitable depth for diving)? Diving board? Slides? Zero entry? Spray ground? Designed for aquatic exercise? Ideal for swim lessons? We would like your input for what will best serve the community now and for decades to come.
We hope to see you at the Fox room on December 11th. We will update our web site rutlandrec.com with the outcome of the meeting for those that are not able to attend.
