Birthday Parties at Hands On Minds On
Kid’s ARTrageous Parties will be a vivid memory as the kids celebrate in colorful style.
We offer several party packages to choose from to best suit you child’s style!
POTTERY PAINTING
The birthday child will choose from a selection of pottery for everyone to paint. We will need to fire these
pieces and ask that the parent of the birthday child pick up and distribute the finished pottery ware.
-suggested for ages 5 and up
CLAY SCULPTURES
Working with air-dry clay, kids can sculpt with clay and add embellishments
(beads, yarn, pasta, gems...) A theme works well with this style of party, in which we can start off with a
book or drawing first (ex., a dog, garden, dinosaur...). All projects will be going home with artist and take a
few days to completely dry. -suggested for ages 5 and up
THEME PAINTINGS
You can set a theme ( ex., butterflies, crowns, shields, sharks, etc....) to suite the birthday child and can
make it come alive with paints and brushes of all sorts. After painting we’ll be doing squishy, squashy,
great-smelling sculptures out of soap! From the Vermont Soap Company, shredded soap for play and
design will be a great way to truly clean up young hands after a painting project. All paintings and
sculptures will be going home with artist. -suggested for ages 4 and up and party is 1.5 hours long.
SUDZY PUTTY TIME
An additional feature to the Pottery and Clay parties - we will dedicate time after the first project is
finished to sculpt with squishy, squashy soap that is colorful, great-smelling and a blast to play with!
From the Vermont Soap Company, it is shredded and addictive fun for all ages. Sculptures will belong to
each artist and can be used (FUNctional) in tub or shower! An additional 30 minutes will be added to the
party, making it a two hour party and additional $40 will be added to party.
All party packages begin with the Party Base Fee of $20 which includes:
- private studio space, instructor, customized invitations and envelopes, bouquet of six balloons
- all paper goods (plates, utensils, cups, etc.) trash disposal and clean up
- plus $15 per child for any package selected
- All you will need to supply is cake and drinks
- Reserving a date entails a $70 non-refundable deposit and a party contract
- All parties are one and half hours long unless opting for additional Sudzy Putty Time
(two hours)
- Minimum of children is six, maximum of 14 (depending on age/size and type of project.)
- Parties available Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
